Im a little new to tumblr but after seeing some gifs in action, they kinda reminded me of the pictures from Harry Potter. Then I got thinking that someone that knows how to use tumblr should make a blog called “The Daily Prophet” and do world news but have the pictures be gifs. That would be cool, gifs are cool.

so hey i have a few issues with the new show Elementary. Let me start off by saying i have no issues with strong women in lead roles unless that role is Dr. Watson. I like Lucy Liu. She was beautiful, hilarious, and had some crazy kung foo skills in charlies angels. But Watson should not be a woman! its a cop out for a love interest between sherlock and watson. watson is supposed to be sherlocks rock, his glimps into normality, but im not sure that a female watson can supply the bond between old friends and companions in the way that (for lack of better example) Martin freeman did for sherlock in the BBC series.

Aside from my issue with the female watson, i don’t like the direction they took with the sherlock holmes character. Sherlock holmes is supposed to eccentric and sometimes a little cryptic (Robert Downy jr. anyone?) but this new sherlock just looks like he has way too many personal issues to pull off a convincing sherlock.

I have not seen the show yet so judge me as you may but from the previews, sherlock looks way too over dependant on watson which can only lead to, like i said before, a relationship between sherlock and (the female) watson.
